STUTTGART – Wow, Mercedes-Benz EQV is ready to be marketed with the advantage of exploring further.
This jumbo-bodied luxury MPV was first present at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as a concept vehicle. But this time the vehicle development process is over, the EQV is said to be ready to be marketed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show which is actually being held next month.
The presence of the Mercedes-Benz EQV, immediately silenced Tesla and Volkswagen who planned to make an electric-powered van. Although this vehicle has a gambot body, but claimed to be able to cover a distance of about 400 kilometers in a fully charged battery condition (in Europe).

This vehicle is quite superior in the use of energy efficient electricity, thanks to the saving of a 90 kWh battery located below the cabin deck. This also has an impact on the cabin area which is not reduced at all from the petrol or diesel versions.
By relying on a 110 kw general battery charging center, it is said to be able to charge from 10 to 80 percent in only 45 minutes. However, with AC charging models such as public chargers, Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Home which has 11 kw of power, the battery must be charged overnight or 10 hours.
Mercedes-Benz EQV is capable of producing 204 hp with a maximum torque of 362 Nm. This vehicle is also capable of traveling a maximum speed of 160 kph. All output is entirely from lithium-ion batteries.
Although this vehicle has similarities with Vito, the German manufacturer provides an aesthetic angle that distinguishes it from the conventional version. EQV if it is marketed next month it will be the first electric van in the world. Mercedes-Benz itself will alert EQV to general consumers and fleets.
